The system for leak testing on tanks is very sophisticated, effective and safe and adopts high technical and precision elements.

The detection technique adopted by Masstech Italia Srl, called "MASSTECH 2 / a System", is based on the cross-coupling of the control of the variations in the level of the product mass contained in the tank in relation to the volume  of the empty part. The instrumentation is very sophisticated and is derived from advanced aeronautical and spatial technologies.

The method is not invasive and specially lends itself to detecting maliciously disguised micropleaks that are not easily detectable unless long-term.
